HESC-T-031 photoelectric isolated RS-485/422 repeater can extend the communication distance of RS-485/422 bus network, increase the number of RS-485/422 network equipment. The built-in photoelectric isolator and DC/DC isolation module can provide up to 2,500 Vrms isolation voltage. The repeater has advanced TVS (TRANSIENT VOLTAGES SUPPRESSOR) at both ends of the interface to provide 600w surge and lightening protection for each wire of RS-485/422 interface.

The converter is equipped with zero delay automatic transceiver conversion, and the unique I/O circuit automatically controls the data flow direction without any handshake signal (such as RTS, DTR, etc), and realizes full-duplex (RS-422) and half-duplex (RS-485) mode conversion without jumper settings, plug and play.

HESC-T-031 can provide a reliable connection for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication mode. At point-to-multipoint mode, this repeater can be connected to 128 RS-485/422 devices.
