HEUS-T-029 is a universal USB to RS-485/422 converter without the need of external power supply. It is compatible with USB, RS-422 and RS-485 standards, capable of converting single-ended USB signal to balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals. It has surge protection per wire. The inter-pole capacitance ensures high speed transmission of RS-485/422 interfaces, with the RS-422 and RS-485 ports connected via DB9 male connectors.

The converter has zero-delay automatic transmission and reception conversion, and the unique I/O circuit automatically controls the direction of data flow without any handshake signal (such as RTS, DTR, etc.). It does not require jumper settings to achieve full-duplex (RS-232/RS-422) and half-duplex (RS-485) mode conversion, which ensures compatibility with all existing communication software and interface hardware.

HEUS-T-029 can provide reliable connection for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication. Under point-to-multipoint mode, each converter can connect to up to 32 RS-422 or RS-485 interface devices. The data communication rate is 300 - 921.6 Kbps, with power indicator and data flow indicator to indicate the fault situation.
